As a Phoenix native, we are often overlooked in regards to creative works. Other cities like San Francisco, New York, and Los Angeles seem to garner all the attention when it comes to makers and creators alike. I wanted to highlight some of Phoenix's biggest contributors—my friends.

I shot this video on a Canon Rebel. We frequent this spot called, Lux Central, located in Phoenix's Midtown neighborhood. We come here to share ideas, study, eat jalepeño mac & cheese, and mostly to just hang out. So, we had a meeting of the minds, and I decided to shoot it. I shot each interview, and in between, captured B-roll to make sure I could tell a compelling story without focusing on the speaker. From there, I edited and applied typography to the video in Adobe After Effects.

The end result was something that I feel is warm and honest to the stories of my wonderful friends.
